The Middle Path: consciousness and the negative effects of technology was my first term four month grad thesis project which delved into the concept of consciousness and the negative sociological and psychological effects of modern technology.
Combining the Buddhist Eightfold Path (minus the religious underpinnings) with my observations and extensive research into sociological and psychological problems induced by our reliance and dependency on modern technology, I created a pamphlet and poster series for public consumption and intervention. This project's outcome was intended to effect people and actually leave an imprint on the world, so I created and distributed over 100 pamphlets to unknown, everyday people.
The pamphlet deliverable is unique in that it echoes the Eightfold Path by having no beginning or ending; it continually unfolds unto itself.
